Configure promo rules
Opt for a scenario: "Buy X get Y", "Spend X get Y", "Coupon", set frequency of response, select products to participate in the campaign, and decide on either a fixed-value or %-discount.

Promo rules

Frequency

Popup settings
Choose an option where to show popups: everywhere or on the cart and checkout pages only.
Subtotal validation
Option "Include/Exclude Tax" allows including or excluding taxes from the subtotal of the cart when working out the rule.

However, the functionality of our extension doesn't affect or override the default Magento stock behavior for configurable products.
For example, if the "Out-of-stock Threshold" for a configurable product is set to "0", Magento will provoke and display out-of-stock status for the entire configurable product when all child items have 0 qty left accordingly.
